Service-Learning Proposal Description

1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer The Eau Claire County Humane Association launched our new Community Pet Pantry on January 1st, 2018. The Community Pet Pantry provides food and/or supplies for individuals in our community that may need assistance because of disability, financial strain, or other. The Community Pet Pantry replaced a long running, similar program called WALOP. Due to the change, we have signage at Petco that needs to be updated and a pamphlet created to inform our community of the pet pantry. The community need to be addressed is to be a voice for all animals by providing education, resources, and support for the community, compassionate care for homeless animals until they can be placed in forever homes, and coordination with other organizations to promote animal welfare.

2.
