Service-Learning Proposal Description


Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer Work in the campus closet checking students in and out, explaining to students how the campus closet works. I will help provide students with professional attire for events such as career fairs or interviews. Not everyone can afford to buy a nice suit, but should still be given the same opportunity to look the part for professional events.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer To eliminate barriers to success in the form of professional attire. Providing UWEC students with the opportunity to have or borrow professional clothing.


What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Administrative Customer Service Interpersonal Communication Basic Office Skills Professional Knowledge


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Students that volunteer for this experience will come away with a sense of connection to the institution and realizing a bigger purpose in being an integral part in the success of a fellow Blugold.


What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Volunteers are asked to cover one of the following Shifts Tuesday 2pm-5pm Wednesday 2pm-5pm Thursday 2pm-5pm
