Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer Website management assist the clinic in communicating with the community. We need a website manager to assist in updating existing information, and adding new information.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Mission statement of organization: The mission of the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic is to provide quality health services to and advocacy for persons of the Chippewa Valley who have no reasonable health care alternative. The overarching goals of the Clinic are to 1) sustain ongoing access to health care, 2) provide effective and safe delivery of medical and humanitarian support, 3) improve and save the lives of the low income, uninsured population, 4) be part of a network that supports the physical, economic, and social well-being of individuals and their communities.


What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Website design experience Computer technology experience


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer The purpose of the Website Management is to help promote a well designed and updated website to maintain the public reputation and image of the organization. Ideal candidates will possess excellent writing and presentation skills, communication skills, as well as creativity and high motivation levels. Given the diverse range of tasks and fluctuating schedules, all volunteers are expected to have good team work skills. This job description serves as a guide on job duties and must remain flexible to respond to the needs of the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic.


What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer 1-2 hrs weekly (Monday-Thursday 9a-3p)
