Service-Learning Proposal Description

1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer High quality photos help us more successfully market the YMCA's programs and mission to the people of the Chippewa Valley, but our current image library is three years old. Since then, we have merged with the YMCA in Chippewa Falls, acquired the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center, and opened the new John & Fay Menard YMCA Tennis Center. We need new images to use in digital and print publications.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through program that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Advanced photography

4.

What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Learn about the mission of the YMCA and produce digital images that can be used in marketing and communication efforts.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Must be able to travel to at least one of our four locations in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. Must have access to your own equipment and editing programs.
