Service-Learning Proposal Description


Briefly describe the project and the community to be addressed.
Answer Volunteers will work on a volunteer project abroad pertaining to one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, such as quality education where the volunteer would teach english or another subject.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?
Answer AIESEC is the world's largest youth-led organization aimed at developing leadership through positive impacts around the world. It is every young person’s responsibility to take a positive role shaping the future of our planet. We believe every young person deserves the chance, and tools, to fulfill their potential. We provide young people with self-driven, practical, global experiences. We enable them to see the world, make a real difference and discover what truly matters to them.

Answer The desire to make an impact.


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?
Answer The objectives are to develop leadership through cross-cultural exchanges in our volunteers and to create a positive impact across the world through projects on the Sustainable Development Goals.


What are the availability requirements for the student?
Answer Our volunteer projects are a minimum of 6 weeks, any time of the year including winter break. The projects fee is $500 and includes accommodation, airport pick-up, exchange support, EP buddy, some meals, and sometimes culture classes depending on the project.
