Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer Camp Manitou will celebrate its centennial in 2023. We wish to capture stories from campers and staff across the decades to help commemorate this momentous occasion, and to document the history of its impact over the years. These stories could be in written and/or video format.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.


What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Strong writing and communication skills, critical thinking, being comfortable talking to strangers, and a curiosity about people are required for this project.


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer To tell accurate and interesting stories about former campers and staff of Camp Manitou.


What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer The UWEC student will be given the flexibility to set up interviews that meet their availability.
