Service-Learning Proposal Description


Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer Students will be helping to setup and run audio/video and lighting equipment for promotional videos, stage productions, and podcasts. Students will also be learning proper, industry standard techniques on basic maintenance of studio and production equipment.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer To help people learn about and explore healthy and modern ethics.


What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Basic knowledge of computer technology, ability to actively listen and learn, professional communication skills such as speaking kindly to strangers.


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer This is a learning experience. Any level of stage and studio production knowledge is welcome. Students will be helping the Technical Director with day to day operations like preparing the stage for bands to perform, learning and running audio, video, and lighting technology, cleaning equipment, and working with "talent" to execute various productions. The objective is for students to get experience and an understanding of stage and studio production.


What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Availability between the office hours of 10am-4pm Monday through Thursday.
