Answer By joining our team as our Policy and Procedures Nonprofit Development you would be meeting a need of coordinating and executing organizational operations, writing edits, and implementing procedures. Create a community partnership with the newly forming nonprofit MS-Take Charge, Inc. This collaboration opportunity will become a reference for you in the future.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer MS-Take Charge is a nonprofit organization focusing on providing movement therapy and wellness for those with Multiple Sclerosis. Educate and empower strength and independence through community collaboration to “Take Charge” of MS by learning to move MS energy effectively to create Vitality of Body, Mind, and Spirit in the Chippewa Valley area.


What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Someone with an interest in collaborating with me as I form a health and wellness community engagement nonprofit organization for individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis. 1. Time management - juggling multiple tasks 2. Utilize one’s skills to enhance their service-learning experience 3. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities 4. Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, and Adobe 5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively 6. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. 7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Play a vital role in supporting our organization's development operations by providing formation documents and support. This is an excellent learning opportunity for you as well as a chance to be interning with a grassroots nonprofit while building your resume.


What are the availability requirements for the student?
