Service-Learning Proposal Description

1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer SAAs assist professors in lab. They help students by answering questions, offering advice, and providing a supportive environment for learning chemistry.

2.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Assist student and professors in lab courses.

3.

What skills are required for this project? 

Answer SAAs must have previously taken the lab course they are assisting in.

4.

What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer SAAs review the chemistry and experiments in the course and gain leadership and teaching experience.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer SAAs must be able to attend at least 2 out of the 3 hours of each lab section.
