Service-Learning Proposal Description

1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer The Eau Claire Marathon is a community driven race that brings together runners and fans from all over to Eau Claire, WI. This includes the Blugold Mile. This project is to assist Eau Claire Marathon committee with creative design of Eau Claire Marathon merchandise & race equipment leading up to the event.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer The mission of the Eau Claire Marathon is to provide a world-class race in Eau Claire, promoting the livability and community spirit of the city.

What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Art & Design

What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer The outcomes that have typically come out of this activity are the expanded awareness that accompanies volunteering. The sense that you have helped others accomplish their goals through your efforts is one of the more common outcomes cited by students in the past.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Eau Claire Marathon will develop timeline for project completion, Student to determine exact schedule/hours
