1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer This initiative is an engaging volunteering project based at The Chippewa Valley Museums, where volunteers work in an ice cream parlor. Beyond just serving up delicious treats, volunteers are trained to intertwine historical narratives into their interactions with museum visitors. They'll delve into the origins and evolution of the parlor itself, as well as the broader cultural impact of ice cream. By merging the enjoyment of ice cream with the exploration of local history, this project offers a unique and enriching experience for both volunteers and visitors alike. Through storytelling and shared experiences, it fosters education, engagement, and community building within the museum's surroundings.
