Service-Learning Proposal Description

1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer TOPSoccer is a recreational program for children with disabilities to learn, play and enjoy soccer. Volunteer buddies help players. Help on makerting and sponsorships.

2.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer To help all players to grow in confidence and love of the beautiful game.

3.

What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Volunteer, provide friendly and safe environment to assigned player. Communications and outreach to gain sponsorships.

4.

What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Grow in understanding of special needs community. Assist program to run it successfully. Assist a non-profit soccer club fund revenue to keep the program free.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Attend 7 sunday afternoon sessions. Work with program director on marketing and sponsorships.

6.

Additional information (not required).

Answer Could focus entirely on marketing plan and sponsorship outreach.
