Service-Learning Proposal Description

1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer TOPSoccer is a disability /special needs program for local children. Volunteer buddies assist players to have positive experience.

2.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Eau Claire United Soccer Club seeks to help all children an opportunity to learn and play soccer.

3.

What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Ability to assist a special needs player. Patience, positive friendly attitude. Keep safety for player. No soccer experience needed.

4.

What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Help special needs children learn and have fun playing soccer. Build awareness of others needs and challenges in life.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Seven Sunday afternoon sessions late October thru mid December 2024 to help setup, take down and assist player.

6.

Additional information (not required).

Answer No soccer experience needed just willingness to learn.
