Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer Bowling Assistants help participants enjoy the game they love to play. Wagner's Wheels is a bowling league supported by United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of West Central Wisconsin. Wagner's Wheels bowling league has over 10 sponsored teams with 4 bowlers per team. The teams are very competitive with each other but the league needs volunteers to assist with bowling ramps, scoring accuracy, communicating between bowlers and having fun.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of West Central Wisconsin offers services, care and understanding to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities throughout West Central Wisconsin area.


What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Communication and willingness to help where needed.


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Students should learn that assisting with the bowling league helps participants access recreation and leisure activities in a fun and competitive environment.


What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Sundays from 4pm - 6pm @ Wagner's Bowling in Eau Claire @ 2159 Brackett Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701

Answer Students interested can show up at Wagner's Bowling on Sundays @ 4pm and speak directly to Judy or inquire at the desk about Wagner's Wheels when the arrive. Past students who were involved with Wagner's Wheels really enjoyed being part of the bowling league.
