Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer We are looking for someone to help gather information for adoption brochures. We want to be able to send home adopters with useful information to help them out with caring for their newly adopted animals. Topics will include: vaccine recommendations, introducing new pets to each other, nutrition, medications, etc.


What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer The Chippewa Humane Association, also known as the Howard Gibbs Memorial Animal Shelter, seeks to relieve the suffering of homeless companion animals. By setting an example of excellence in animal care and placement, humane education, and community leadership, we can successfully emphasize their importance.


What skills are required for this project? 

Answer Those interested in this project should have technological skills to do online research, have a basic understanding of animal care, and be able to communicate findings.


What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Students participating in this project will learn the value of researching a topic thoroughly and communicating outcomes.


What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer This project is flexible around student's schedules.
